The Price Of A Miracle

An eight-year-old child heard her parents talking about her little brother. All she knew was that he was very sick and they had no money left. They were moving to a smaller house because they could not afford to stay in the present house after paying the doctor's bills. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and there was no one to loan them the money. When she heard her daddy say to her tearful mother with whispered desperation, 'Only a miracle can save him now', the little girl went to her bedroom and pulled her piggy bank from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Clutching the precious piggy bank tightly, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to the local drugstore. She took a quarter from her bank and placed it on the glass counter. "And what do you want?" asked the pharmacist. "It's for my little brother," the girl answered back. "He's really very sick and I want to buy a miracle." "I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist. "His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my daddy says only a miracle can save him. So how much does a miracle cost?" "We don't sell miracles here, child. I'm sorry," the pharmacist said, smiling sadly at the little girl. "Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I can try and get some more. Just tell me how much it costs." In the shop was a well-dressed customer. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does you brother need?" "I don't know," she replied with her eyes welling up. "He's really sick and mommy says he needs an operation. But my daddy can't pay for it, so I have brought my savings". "How much do you have?" asked the man. "One dollar and eleven cents; but I can try and get some more", she answered barely audibly. "Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man, "A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers." He took her money in one hand and held her hand with the other. He said, "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of miracle you need." That well-dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a neurosurgeon. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn't long before Andrew was home again and doing well. "That surgery," her mom whispered, "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost." The little girl smiled. She knew exactly how much the miracle cost ... one dollar and eleven cents ... plus the faith of a little child.

Perseverance can make miracles happen! Miracle can come in various forms as a doctor, as a lawyer, as a teacher, as a police and many others.

A river cuts the rock not because of its power, but because of its consistency. Never lose your hope; keep walking towards your vision.

Hope this has blessed you. Share if it did! Thanks!

Five Undeniable Facts of Life

1. Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be Happy.
So when they grow up they will know  the value of things not the price.

2. Best awarded words in London ...
"Eat your food as your medicines, Otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food."

3. The One who loves you will never leave you because even if there are 100 reasons
to give up he or she will find one reason to hold on.

4. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really understand it.

5. You are loved when you are born.   You will be loved when you die.
In between, You have to manage!

True Happiness

As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300. or $30.00 watch   - - - - - - they both tell the same time...

Whether we carry a $300 or $30.00 wallet/handbag - - - - - - -  the amount of money inside is the same;

Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 sq.ft. - - - - - - - - loneliness is the same.

You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.

Whether you fly First, Business or Economy class, if the plane goes down - - - - - - --you go down with it...

Therefore..I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven & earth, .... That is true happiness!!

Her Parents and Doctors Were Ready to Give Up…but Her Brother Wanted to Sing a Song

A must read for all Christians, Mothers and anyone who is hoping for a miracle

 Walk with me

Like any good mother, when Kate found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son,Victor, prepare for a new sibling.

They found out that the new baby was going to be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Victor sang to his little sister in Mommy’s tummy.

He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her. The pregnancy progressed normally for Kate.

In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Kate found herself in hours of labor.

Would a C-section be required? Finally, after a long struggle, Victor’s little sister was born. But she was in very serious condition.

She might not make it alive!

With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee.

The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatric specialist regretfully had to tell the parents, “There is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst.”

Kate and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They had fixed up a special room in their home for the new baby, but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral.

Victor, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. “I want to sing to her,” he kept saying.

Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over.Victor kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.

Kate made up her mind, though. She would take Victor whether they liked it or not! If he didn’t see his sister right then, he may never see her alive.

She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket, but the head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed

“Get that kid our of here, now!

NO children are allowed.” The mother rose up strong in Kate, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse’s face, her lips a firm line. “Victor is not leaving until he sings to his sister.”

The Head Nurse obliged Kate

Karen towed Victor to his sister’s bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live.

After a moment, he began to sing. In the pure hearted voice of a 3 year old, Victor sang:

“You are my sunshine,
 My only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray.”

Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. Her pulse rate began to calm down and become steady. “Keep on singing Victor,” encouraged Kate with tears in her eyes.

 Victor continued singing

“You’ll never know, dear,

 how much I love you.

Please don’t take my sunshine away.”

As Victor sang to his sister, the baby’s ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten’s purr.

“Keep on singing, sweetheart!” Kate cried....

“The other night, dear,
 as I lay sleeping,
I dreamed I held you in my hands…”

Victor's little sister began to relax and rest. A healing rest seemed to sweep over her.

“Keep on singing, Victor”

Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse.

 Kate glowed.

“You are my sunshine
 my only sunshine
Please don’t take my sunshine away…”

The next, day … the very next day … the little girl was well enough to go home!

It was a miracle, God used Victor.

I don't know what you are hoping on God for, but before the end of the year, God will answer all your prayers.

Woman

WOMAN. . . . . . . . .

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?"

The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?"

She must function on all kinds of situations,
She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,
Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart,
She must do all this with only two hands,"
She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day"

THE ANGEL was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible!

And this is the standard model?"

The Angel came closer and touched the woman"
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome"

"Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate"

The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her"
"She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel…

"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"

Lord said."Indeed she is.
She has strength that amazes a man.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.
Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback
"She often forgets what she is worth".

Send it to all the women u respect ....👍

And to all men who respect woman 👍👍

W O M A N:
● changes her name.
● changes her home.
● leaves her family.
● moves in with you.
● builds a home with you.
● gets pregnant for you.
● pregnancy changes her body.
● she gets fat.
● almost gives up in the labour room due to the unbearable pain of child birth..
● even the kids she delivers bear your name..

Till the day she dies.. everything she does... cooking, cleaning your house, taking care of your parents, bringing up your children, earning, advising you, ensuring you can be relaxed, maintaining all family relations, everything that benefit you.. sometimes at the cost of her own health, hobbies and beauty.

So who is really doing whom a favour?

Dear men, appreciate the women in your lives always, because it is not easy to be a woman.

WOMAN MEANS:-
W - WONDERFUL MOTHER.
O - OUTSTANDING FRIEND.
M - MARVELLOUS DAUGHTER.
A - ADORABLE SISTER.

N - NICEST GIFT TO MEN FROM GOD.

Recognize The Small Things and Be Thankful

A construction supervisor from the 16th floor of a building was calling a worker on the ground floor. But because of the noise, the worker did not hear his Call. To draw the attention of the worker, the supervisor threw a N200 note in front of the worker. The worker picked up the note, kept it in his pocket and continued to work.
Again to draw the attention of d worker, the supervisor threw N1000 note and the worker this time quickly picked it and kept it in his pocket. Now the supervisor picked a small stone and threw it at the worker. The stone hit the worker. This time the worker looked up and the supervisor was now able to communicate with him.
Now think for a second... God wants to communicate with us, but we are too busy doing our worldly jobs. Then, He gives us small gifts and big gifts... We just keep them... We keep on enjoying the gifts without thanking Him. At most, we just say: We are LUCKY. But, when we are hit with a small stone which, we call PROBLEM(S), then we remember God. That's when we look up to pray and communicate with Him.
God gives, gives and forgives and we get, get and forget. Let's change our attitude.

So, don't wait for stones to be thrown before you know what to do or expected of you. Always, always and always remember God. Make it a point to always say "God I thank You!!!"

Your Time Will Come

Kenya is two hours ahead of Nigeria, it does not mean that Nigeria is slow and it does not mean that Kenya is faster than Nigeria; both countries are working based on "Time Zone".

There's one that married as a virgin and 'waited' ten years before having a child yet there is another who had series of abortion before marriage yet gave birth after nine months.

There is one that graduated at the age of 22 yet waited 5 years before securing a job,yet there is another who graduated at the age of 30 and secured employment immediately.

There is one who became a CEO at the age of 25 and dies at the age of 50,there is another who became a CEO at the age of 50 and lives to 90, both worked based on the  'Time Zone' of their lives.

Colleagues, friends, associate, younger one(s) might have gone ahead of you don't envy them, it's their 'Time Zone' yours too will come. Just hold on and be strong because everything is going to be alright!

"I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the wise nor riches to men of understanding nor yet
favour to men of skill;but time and chance happeneth to them all"
Ecclesiastes 9:11.

May God guide you through the year, even as you rely on Him daily, because it is only God who makes everything beautiful in His time.

Have a wonderful day my friends.😊

Don't Ignore The Small Things

Buffalos kill 7 people every year.
Lions kill 500 people every year
Hippos kill 800 people every year.
Spiders kill 5000 in people every year.
Scorpions kill 7000 people every year.
Snakes kill 10000 people every year.

Guess what?

Mosquitoes kill 2.7 million people every year.
The smallest are the deadliest.

Small 'sins', hardly noticed by many, are the most deadly to your spiritual life.

Avoid excuses for not praying and allotting few moments of your day to your Creator.
Sins of omission are just as deadly as sins of commission.

White lies, gossiping, small lies, are committed more frequently and are deadly.

Mind those little compromises that you do daily.
They are the ones that will bring your downfall.

Successful people have two things on their lips,
"Smile and silence".

Smile can solve problems, while
Silence can avoid problems.

Sugar and salt may be mixed together
but
ants reject the salt and carry away only the sugar.

Select the right people in life and make your life better and sweeter.

If you failed to achieve your dreams, change your ways not your Creator.

Remember, trees change their leaves, not their roots.

You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.

Haters will see you walking on water and say it's because you can't swim.

Even if you dance on water, Your enemies will accuse you of raising dust.

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands.

Remember Don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it.

Be wise and be smart...............

Two of the Most Important Virtues: Love & Humility

Samira worked at a meat distribution factory.
One day, when she finished with her work schedule, she went into the meat cold room (Freezer) to inspect something, but in a moment of bad luck, the door closed and she was locked inside with no help in sight. Although she screamed and knocked with all her might, her cries went unheard as no one could hear her. Most of the workers had already gone, and outside the cold room it's impossible to hear what was going on inside. Five hours later, whilst Samira was on the verge of death, the security guard of the factory eventually opened the door. Samira got miraculously saved from dying that day. When she later asked the security guard how he had come to open the door, which wasn't his usual work routine. His explanation: "I've been working in this factory for 35 years, hundreds of workers come in and out every day, but you're one of the few who greet me in the morning and say goodbye to me every night when leaving after work. Many treat me as if I'm invisible. Today, as you reported for work, like all other days, you greeted me in your simple manner 'Hello'. But this evening after working hours, I curiously observed that I had not heard your "Bye, see you tomorrow". Hence, I decided to check around the factory. I look forward to your 'hi' and 'bye' every day because they remind me that I am someone. By not hearing your farewell today, I knew something had happened. That's why I started searching every where for you.

Moral Lesson to reflect upon: Be humble, love and respect those around you. Try to have an impact on people who cross your path every day, you never know what tomorrow will bring. Let this story be an inspiration.

Let's share to inspire others; someone else shared this to inspire me...

Remain Blessed!

One of the Most Important Virtue: Patience

Once upon a time, a dog approached an elephant to get into a child bearing competition.
In 3 months the dog gave birth to 6 puppies. In the next 3 months the dog gave birth to yet another set of puppies.
The elephant finally gave birth after 20 months by which time the dog had given birth to over 30 puppies and was mocking the elephant into believing that it had won the competition.
The elephant had a few words for the dog when the baby elephant came out after 20 months.
I can see you had fooled yourself into believing that you had won the competition.
I think you can appreciate now that:
1. I don't give birth to puppies
2. When I do give birth, the calf will be ready to face the world on its own
3. The combined weight of your 36 puppies is less than a fifth of my calf's weight
4. The moment my calf steps into this earth it makes an immediate great impact as if no dog was ever born.
I thought that was amazing.
I have observed something under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those that are educated don't always lead successful lives. It's all about being in the right place at the right time plus a right attitude.
I want you to think like an elephant. Don't envy cheap quick success. For as long as you are in the right place, your chance is coming and by the signs of time it won't be long.
You are guaranteed to make it in life. Maintain your faith in God even when it looks like its all over for you.
Looks can be deceptive but the Word remains forever.
In 1999 Brazil 4. Germany 0
2002 Brazil 2. Germany 0
2004 Brazil 1. Germany 1
Total: Brazil 7. Germany 1
2014 Brazil 1. Germany 7
When its your time, God will correct 10yrs of mistakes with 1 event.
Patience is a virtue, so don't give up! Remain blessed!
